My flight was canceled, I’m grumpy and can’t write my blog.

Now I’m flying with a private pilot who happens to be my ex’s brother, who’s my enemy because he dumped me in Paris.

I wondered if Alex was like his brother and would leave me stranded on this island we crashed on. I fear I won’t make it back home in time to attend my best friend’s wedding.

I learned he’s quite the opposite of his brother. He’s actually a gentleman. He bandaged my injured ankle gently and lovingly. Then carried me to safety.

That stirred something in my heart I had never felt from his brother.

His touch is gentle and kind, his voice is as sweet as honey, and the ache of happiness in my chest is more than I can handle.
